"Nate Buzelli. 28 years-old Italian-Brazilian...

How to write about me further than that? To see myself, I have to look at what motivates me.

My love for art, specially cinema, started really early, when I was 4. I knew I had to become a filmmaker by the time I was 12 and I admit that my life has evolved around this passion, this most urgent need.

The essence of art lies within the constant production and engagement by the artist in his environment, his community. Despite all the references that surround us throughout the process of absorbing knowledge and information, it is by producing and persisting that we'll find ourselves within our work. For the artist, it's important to always be curious, to let oneself be intrigued by doubts and to seek answers with an open heart and an active humanity.

My creative process usually starts with an image, a frame of what's about to come; through different mediums (like music, theater, literature, etc.) I start to climb the ladder of ideas towards creation. The best part still is, however, being able to share this process with different people that want to be part of it too. There is no cinema nor audiovisual by oneself, it's the most amazing and only truly collaborative artform.

The final product will always be better if the theme, the story and the idea behind the project are as personal and/or engaging to the crew as they are to its leader. That's my approach as a person and as a professional."

I hope this detailed portfolio is able to offer you a window to my perspective,

to my lifestyle."
